Replaced!

Replaced!

Things are getting pretty serious now! Yesterday we spent a long hard day removing the sink, boiler and granite worktops. The necessary plumbing and electrics have been done, ready for the plasterer on Thursday. I am without a sink but the dishwasher remains.......I am hanging onto that until the last possible moment I can tell you!
Our pals Spud and Tony are here today building the units.... we'll just see how things go.
Remaining calm and collected - be it a tad tired I am just getting on with matters, knowing all will be so much better very soon.
Next post will feature the plastered walls.......
watch this space!

  3. I meant to ask, during all these changes, have you found things you thought lost forever? It always seems to happen with us.

  4. Shooting parrots - I lost the key to the patio doors a week or so ago. The very minute the new door was fitted I found the key! No job for it now! lol!

  5. Its amazing how *lost* things turn up when you don't need them. I am referring to shooting parrot's comment.
Now I will have to visit her blog as that name has intrigued me.

yes - we have to feed her on the countertop - she shares the home with 2 german shepherds - in the past they have eaten all her food so we feed her quickly and at least we know she is getting her fair share! lol!
