A new chapter!
We bought this yesterday! We have a VW white transporter for the business which we have had from new and it has a low mileage, however it is looking tatty due to some rusting - the disadvantage of a white van. We were thinking about modifying it to house a seating area and table. We called at our local VW camper saleroom and this was on show. It has seating for 5 and a fold down bed. It doesn't have any sink or fridge fitted so it is exactly what we want. We will collect it around 1st August when we will tax it. We have joined a couple of groups who have a database of various places, ie pubs, farmshops etc who allow overnight parking. It will be a timid toe in the water for camping and with our induction hob we have the power point necessary to rustle up a bacon butty! Fun on the cards I hope. We will sell our current white van through the business as it's on the books but this is ours! Watch this space!

Ooh, exciting. Many years ago, my husband fitted an old Ford Transit van so we could go away. Eventually, we had a raising roof fitted and then we could stand up in it. We had some good holidays in it. It accommodated us, three small children and two dogs - one large Labrador and one small Jack Russell.
