 It's August tomorrow - where does the time go?

Considering we said we wouldn't do ANYTHING in the new house for A YEAR! I sort of started using the phrase "We wont do ANYTHING MAJOR" for a year but let's face it the year is flying by and we have been here 4 months which is A THIRD of a year!

There were things we HAD to fix for security reasons, a fence panel, a new garage door, and we are currently planning the new makeover of the downstairs cloakroom which is scheduled for 26th August. The 2 rooms which let the house down and obviously were in the original state were the downstairs cloakroom and the spare bedroom. We are planning on redecorating the lounge/dining area and hall/staircase and landing in the new year. However I pointed out to Jon that we needed a room to use when the lounge etc would be decorated - so we (me) had the notion that we would sort out the spare bedroom.

Progress so far. Wallpaper stripped and now emulsin - Wimbourne White.

I have decided on neutral colours. The carpet is wool and will be cleaned next week. I have ordered the curtains which will take about 3 weeks.
