My favourite part is the centre - vanilla custard!
For those of you who are aware of my diet observe the facts....
1. They look like eggs - eggs are healthy!
2. Apricots are part of my daily fruit intake
3. They are gorgeous!

I have one of those spoiled things with fur that lives here, too. Pathetically spoiled. Hmmm, wonder how that happened? ;)

DeleteI might well adopt that sit on the settee pose for catching up on paperwork rather than sitting at my desk Denise. As for those CAKES - yes whatever you say about your diet and what you should eat, they are CAKES - oh my goodness, how I want one.

Those pastries look so good. Is the custard under the apricots.

AP no the custard has a WHOLE piece of the pastry to itself - it is inside the centre part between the apricots! I eat one apricot part, then the other apricot part then after a brief pause for a drink of tea........the cuctard part!

It is hard to beat a nice cuppa, a good pastry and a chat with a friend, so it's important to value these and enjoy them!
