I am happily married to hubby Jon and live in a small village on the North York Moors, about 9 miles from the ever popular Whitby! We share our home with 2 german shepherds, Elsie and Freida and Ella the cat. We keep chickens, Mabel, Olwyn, Eva, May, & Bev who keep us going with wonderful eggs. The house is situated in one third of an acre so I am constantly trying to keep on top of the mammoth task of keeping all in order.
I am fortunate to be a stay at home housewife following 25 years as a primary school teacher. I was set to have a wonderful career but matters turned out differently and I resigned when I was deputy headteacher. Although I have done supply I am quite content to support my hubby with his engineering business in my role as company secretary and sales director.
