A Giveaway!

A couple of weeks ago I received a request from Whiskas for contact details.....this is what followed!

Hi Denise,

Thank you so much for your email - really appreciate you taking the time to contact me. :)

This January, Whiskas is launching a brand new range of cat food called "Tasty Textures" and I wondered if your cat Ella would be interested in trying out a few different flavours for us?

As one of our regular Facebook contributors, we'd be really interested in hearing your (and Ella's!) opinion on the new food. She would be one of the first cats in the UK to try the new meals, which have been created with cats' instincts in mind as we know how much they love different textures in their meals to bite and chew.

If you would like to try some Tasty Textures pouches, let me know your address and I'll pop them in the post to you.

Many thanks!

Needless to say Ella received and indeed LOVED the parcel contents.
Charlotte, the lovely lady at Whiskas read my blog and has really kindly offered to give some Whiskas free gifts..........WOW! Isn't that FANTASTIC!
If you would love enter the giveaway please leave a comment - Ella will pick a few names out next week(5 in all ) and the lucky winners will receive a little something in the post!

  1. OK...
I don't read/do/have facebook, for me just more time in front of the computer, plus in America they are always showing what bad stuff is on it. You wouldn't believe it. Awful.

But, You are a contributor to Whiskas food company ? Do you write articles about cats ?
What a great idea and how lucky for you and Ella ! Plus so glad that she likes the food ! and you didn't have to write back saying she wouldn't eat it.

What a beautiful photo of Ella.
I don't have a kitty so don't put me in the giveaway.

    cheers, parsnip

  2. You might laugh but y 2 dogs go ad for whiskas cat treats!! They will also eat the cat food if allowed to LOL
I think its the strong flavours and smells that have them drooling and because they're cat sized they make a nice, small treat.
Well there's a strap line for you- So good even dogs can't resist them" LOL

  4. that's neat. Molly our dog is allrgic to most things so she has to have a very specialized dog food, so no taste testing for our doggie.

Glad Ella liked them and good luck to people who want to win this great giveaway.

  5. Great idea to promote the product! Unfortunately, (or maybe fortunately???) I don't have a cat as I tend to get a bit itchy/sneezy around most types. Hope all who receive the product will like it and then purchase.

  10. What a lovely photo of Ella. No cats here anymore, mores the pity, my son's allergic to cats, that's why we got a dog instead.

  11. Lucky Ella! The only cats here are 'farm' cats always ready to jump on the birds - perhaps I should feed them all, they might leave the birds alone then.

  15. How lovely! It's always nice to treat our cats - the dogs get so much choice but cats don't seem to have as much for some reason.

  17. Found my way here as you left a comment on my blog and I couldn't find an email address to say thanks for your kind comment.

Tia would've loved to try out my cat food as we have just stoped her one felix pouch per day that supplemented her dry food. she is getting too fat.

I am adding you to my rss feed.

  19. Am I too late for the giveaway? Been off ill for a while and missed out on lots of blog reading. I have two cats, both quite elderly now,and increasingly fussy.
