Ted has had his injections so I put a lead on him for the first time today! He seemed to get the general impression and took himself for a walk round his garden!
He met Freida for the first time - they got along like a house on fire. Freida showed him how to walk on lead - we didn't walk far, but every day in every way we will all walk a little bit further together.
How cute is that?!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Indeed Jane - he's a cutie xxxx
ReplyDeleteTed is absolutely gorgeous. x
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Victoria - he could do with a nice knitted coat! lol!
DeleteTed is gorgeous and not a bit afraid of his larger companion.

Nuts in May
Absolutely Maggie - and Freida is so good with him. She's a star.
DeleteLooks like Frieda is being careful with him. You must be having such fun all of you going for a walk together. :D
ReplyDeleteTed will have grown by the time you come to visit Leslie - but he'll be ready for a walk with you!
Deleteawwwwwwwwwwwwww.
ReplyDeletePuppies are very time consuming but very sweet.
Frieda will probably enjoy having Ted around. All my older dogs enjoy having a "youngling" around, although the exasperated looks were quiet funny.
cheers, parsnip
I agree Parsnip - I visit Ted about 3 times a day and feed him then see he uses the gents. I sit with him and he knows "Ted Bed" and "Ted weewee" and "Ted..Job!" lol xxx
ReplyDeleteTed is adorable, and Frieda is wonderfully patient with him. I'm not sure our Lindy would be that good with a puppy.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the further adventures of Ted and Frieda.

Oh my goodness, two beautiful dogs. They say that an older dog teaches a younger one the ropes so Frieda's got a great responsibility. I'm sure she'll step up to the challenge well.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo Denise. There should be more photos like this - Alsatians get such a bad press and rarely deserved - she looks so gentle here.
ReplyDeleteOh Ted is so like my old doggie Bilko it makes me cry,Frieda would make a lovely mother to him bless her.Love Jill xx
ReplyDeleteOh he's soooo cute, I'd say you get lots of cuddles!
ReplyDeletehe certainly a cutie and full of life,

What a little sweetie! I like the bit about Freida showing him how to walk on a lead. I'd be waiting a long time for Paddy to do that. ;)
ReplyDeleteI must have missed some of your posts. I hadn't heard about Ted. How could I miss such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteHe'll get used to it, especially with Freida to teach him:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling puppy! English Springer Spaniel? We had one (Nick) for a long time... they're wonderful dogs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little puppy ! The first picture is so cute !
ReplyDeleteSplendid.

When did you get this special guy ?
ReplyDeleteHe is about 10 weeks old - I have been his sitter for 2 weeks now. He belongs to our neighbours. Dxx
DeleteThere's nothing like a cute little puppy to make you go aaaahhhhhhh....until they pee on your lap and chew your socks...then its more like......AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.......
ReplyDeleteAww! how cute :-)
