When Ted met Freida!

Ted has had his injections so I put a lead on him for the first time today! He seemed to get the general impression and took himself for a walk round his garden!

He met Freida for the first time - they got along like a house on fire. Freida showed him how to walk on lead - we didn't walk far, but every day in every way we will all walk a little bit further together.

  5. awwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Puppies are very time consuming but very sweet.
Frieda will probably enjoy having Ted around. All my older dogs enjoy having a "youngling" around, although the exasperated looks were quiet funny.

  6. I agree Parsnip - I visit Ted about 3 times a day and feed him then see he uses the gents. I sit with him and he knows "Ted Bed" and "Ted weewee" and "Ted..Job!" lol xxx

  7. Ted is adorable, and Frieda is wonderfully patient with him. I'm not sure our Lindy would be that good with a puppy.
Looking forward to the further adventures of Ted and Frieda.

  8. Oh my goodness, two beautiful dogs. They say that an older dog teaches a younger one the ropes so Frieda's got a great responsibility. I'm sure she'll step up to the challenge well.

  9. Lovely photo Denise. There should be more photos like this - Alsatians get such a bad press and rarely deserved - she looks so gentle here.
