Today the weather has been dull, foggy and wet! We jumped into the van and had a drive over the moors to Whitby where we enjoyed fish and chips! Whitby was busy as ever despite the rain!
Yes, grey, wet and windy here too - supposed to be better tomorrow. We took the grandchildren swimming, including Ruby (10 weeks!) - good fun! Love your pics! Fish and chips sounds a good idea today!
I also chuckled at the first photo ~ if ever there were two perturbed gulls, you captured their expressions so well! Sounds like you made the best of a dull grey day!
Whitby looks a lovely little place. I'm cracking up!!!!! Just love that seagull picture. They look really peed off and that is unusual for seagulls. They must be used to bad weather. Its been raining here too...... all day.
Must say, I like that suggestion of a green glass panel. It is my porch door not the front door as other people seem to think. Maggie X
Love those gulls! I was just watching "Fantasy Homes by the Sea" with Catherine Gee and they were in North Yorkshire and Whitby. It looks beautiful there! When I come, will we be able to go to the coast for a day? How far inland are you? And we'd just have to have fish 'n chips!
Leslie - We are about 9 miles from Whitby - about 30 mins in car, 10 mins on motorbike (lol) Yes we will spend days at the coast - so many different locations to choose from. Secluded beaches, Whitby, Scarborough, Flamborough, Bridlington - yes we can do them all! Oh and definately fish & chips!!
That seagull picture is a classic! :)
