1 Down - 8 to go!

Feather duster c/o google!

Well I have had quite a day here at home, commencing the great de-cluttering of the house in preparation for our DIY make-over. I have sorted out piles of books, to be collected on Monday and had a thorough scurry round the main bedroom. There are now 2 bags ready to go to the Charity shop on Monday and a lovely clean and tidy bedroom. I am quite exhausted so a quiet night in sounds just the ticket.

We seem to have escaped the snow....so far!

  1. It sounds like you've been busy. We've had snow here, but it's turned to mush already and there's lots of fog around too.

  3. I took one look at all those feathers & thought you'd done something mad with a chicken!
You are lucky to be making headway with your Spring cleaning.
I just need a shove in the right direction.

  6. I'm currently in a de-cluttering mood. The charities are doing well out of me. Fortunately we have many doorstep collections so I don't have to cart the donations very far. So glad you missed the snow.

  7. I find that a declutter occasionally is good for the soul. ;)

  9. Wanna come and do mine next? I have clutter!

I keep taking bags to the charity shop but the clutter seems to proliferate somehow. There's never any less of it!

  10. I'm back again...now that I have mice on the brain...I found my mouse poem here if you are interested :) Touch wood, no mice seen since I had to deal with the two of them.
