M is for...on the Menu today!
In my ABC of life with Bing I would like to share with you what was on the menu today! Well to be grammatically correct it was actually on the draining board awaiting a chopping session for tonight's dinner. Bing jumped up at the sink whilst I was out for a few minutes......and sampled what he thought looked appetising! Had I not returned when I did I am sure he would have finished it all!
He ate a butternut squash last week and a pair of slippers....varied healthy diet eh?

Oh, that Bing is getting to be such a big boy now.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the dietary advantages or disadvantages of slippers (lots of fibre), but squash shouldn't hurt him, although onions can. Good thing you got there before he finished it.

Kay ..It would seem I did Bing a favour returning when I did....onions are very bad for dogs!!!!.
Deleteoddly, I thought, on first glance, that this was a worn-out Christmas ornament!

Roger - don't put ideas into his head! lol!
DeleteWell, at least he's varied in his choices. A little slipper fiber thrown in for good measure.
ReplyDeleteHis breath must have been delightful...
Yes! I had recently read that onions are very harMful to dogs! Tegan gets into everything - in fact, yesterday I found her outside running around with my cordless phone in her mouth while it kept beeping! Every once in a while, she'd stop and bark at it. Oh the fun antics of having a puppy! By the way, how much does Bing weigh now? Tegan is pushing 40 lbs!!!

Bing is quite the 'gourmand' ~ hope he didn't get sick ~ Great photo ^_^
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope he's OK too! He's got good taste in food:) And love the red onion capture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a rascally dog! Scruffy scratches on the back of the kitchen chairs -- if I don't catch him first.
ReplyDeleteI love red onions !
ReplyDeleteRavaged onion for lunch eh Denise?
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts matched Rogers here :D but what Kay Davies said later made sense to me!! Lol!!
ReplyDeleteWe he sure is "monkeying" around eh !

Onions seem to have health benefits I was reading not too long ago! So, it must be better than eating slippers:)
ReplyDeletewhoops, looks like that onion met with a bulldozer!!
ReplyDeleteIt LOOKS veryappetizing, but I wonder if Bing really enjoyed it?
ReplyDeleteHaha, the color is really appetizing.

Hello Mrs. Nesbitt,
ReplyDeleteI just found you and decided to follow. Vegetable eating Bing was a factor.
Looking forward to reading here.
Trish :)
I thought the same thing Rog did...it looked like an old Christmas tree ornament on the ABC thumbnail! Poor Bing, hope he doesn't get a stomach ache from it!
ReplyDeleteGeorge stole some raw mushrooms last week - not noticing the lamb chops I'd also left out!
