The weather has not been good for my tomatoes this year. Together with the greenhouse incident (several panes of glass were lost) we saw few ripened tomatoes.
For a change - I am experimenting with a curry recipe!
If it's any good I'll share.
Watch this space!
We have loads of green tomatoes too. Some are ripening on the kitchen window sill. And some are ripening with the help of a banana.
ReplyDeleteCurry sounds good.
Yes please. I too am windowsill ripening (with aid of banana). But an awful lot of green ones still to go..
ReplyDeleteSounds revolting Denise, but if it is good, might try it.
ReplyDeleteOoh, do share. We have loads of ripe tomatoes, unusually.
ReplyDeleteI usually get inundated with gifts of red tomatoes...... but this year no! Must be widespread bad weather stunted them.
ReplyDeleteHoping your curry is a success!!!!

Look forward to seeing the curry recips, if it's a success.
ReplyDeleteI had a load of green tomatoes 2 yrs ago, and made Green Tomato Chutney with vodka, it worked well. I haven't bothered to plant any tomatoes since then, I don't think our weather suits them.
Please do tell how your curry turns out.
