There isn't a Christmas Craft meeting tomorrow night as it is the Village Whist night on Friday and the hall needs to be set up. However as it was a lovely afternoon I took Freida up Handale and took note of some potential hedge contributions for the wreaths we are making shortly.
Click on the 8th photograph to see the roof of our house.
You had lovely blue skies like us today. I've been thinking about wreaths too. I have a willow ring which I made for Beltane, I might decorate that.
ReplyDeleteWillow sounds great Kath - our indoor ones will be made using basic florist wire structures and lagging insulation pipes for central heating pipes! lol!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Denise looking forward to making our wreaths.Love Jill xx
ReplyDeleteAye Jill - they'll be the talk of the town! lol Well village! xxx
ReplyDeleteTalking about your wreaths and the LOL one made from florist wire and lagging pipes.
ReplyDeleteI have a wreath I made from the copper tubing used for water line and just wound several circles out of them, tied them with a bow.
That was the wreath I had the most complements on. Of course I live in California then and Christmas is a day to go to the beach. We aren't all Holly and snow out west.
The wreath goes very well in my home in warm and sunny Tucson, we are the Copper State after all !
I love your roof ! but that is more neighbors that I though you had.
Wonderful photo walk, thanks.
cheers, parsnip
