My Dad died like that very suddenly of a heart attack too.I still miss him so much. Your tribute was beautifully written. He was a real Dad to you, even tho he only came into your life when you were 7. Praying that your day is full of sweet memories of good times - I am sure he would be SO proud of all you have done and all that you are. Blessings x
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful tribute to your dad! I'm not sure about the phrase 'blood is thicker than water' - my dad is my stepdad really, but I thank my lucky stars that I have him in my life, and couldn't love him any more than I do. It sounds like you feel exactly the same about Uncle Jack! I hope you enjoy happy memories today. -x-
I looked back to read your tribute, Denise. Lovely! He really was your Dad, wasn't he - and the best one he could be.
ReplyDeleteTime goes quickly. Dad's are always there in spirit even if not in the psychical. God Bless.
