K is for……………………………..

Kathryn yes our very own Chrystal Jigsaw!

Author of.....Discovery at Rosehill!

If you enjoy suspense, mystery and nail biting excitement (well you must do - you ARE reading my blog!) this is a must!

From opening the first page this book drew me into it's deep dark spell and kept me captivated right throughout to the final words on the final page..... and to think it was penned by someone I know!

Having read Kathryn's blog for quite a few years there were elements I recognised/associated with - the house, the setting, the border collies this set the scene for an amazing script....but nothing could have prepared me for the journey I, the reader was about to take!

Fancy a read?
Form a queue!

  5. Kathryn - believe me I am not just saying this - this book had me HOOKED! As you know I am heavily into our DIY and I was rushing to get the walls stripped of wallpaper so I could sneak another chapter in before my hot bath - then I would come out of the bath a bit earlier than normal so I could sneak another chapter! I savoured reading the last chapter as I didn't want the book to end - but I had to! For the sake of the main character - I owed it to her!

  7. Oooh, my mum said to me this morning, "I don't want this book to end, will there be a sequel?" Maybe, but it won't take as long to write I hope!!

    Thanks again, Denise xxx

  9. What a great post for the day and I want to read this one! It sounds terrific! Thanks Denise for sharing the info and thanks to Kathryn for writing it! I do love a mystery!! Hope you both have a wonderful week!

Terrific post for the K Day and so very true! I got into blogging nearly three years ago. I didn't retire until I was 67 and I was suddenly horrified at the idea of what I was going to do to keep my mind functioning. Blogging, creating a website, learning so many new things has been a real blessing, a challenge, entertainment and fulfillment all at the same time. Alzheimer's is a scary nightmare and just the daily realization of how poorly your memory functions as the years slip quickly by is troubling. So, I try to keep the mind busy! Hope you have a great week!

  16. Thanks Denise! This is exactly the kind of book I like to read.I boughtbseveral books of Vicki Lane and she sent me her latest. They are also very captivating ! Blogging is very interesting and great fun. Thanks to all the creators of the various memes, including you, we learn a lot of the world. Last week I met the Canadian blogger Kay here near the windmills, only fifteen minutes from my home. We sat in front of the little souvenirshop having a cup of coffee in the sunshine. It was great.
Good luck with stripping your walls.
