This was the view at 5am Sunday morning from our hotel window. Jon was just getting the bike ready for our journey home.

A few minutes later as we were getting sorted the sun came out and gave us a couple of lovely images to take away.

We had a good journey  after a fantastic time in the Isle of Man. arriving home around 3pm.
Needless to say I have been busy sorting through our luggage and the house has been like a commercial laundry in an effort to get everything washed and dried. Typically the sun is shining today after raining all day yesterday when I was trying to dry everything.

So life is back to normal - Jon is very busy at work and I am just looking at the garden as it has grown so much whilst we have been away. Sadly all I can do right now is look and plan as both Jon and I have come down with a terrible cold, so my energy levels are quite low and all I can do is to take the "Day Nurse" capsules every 4 hours. I must say I think they are working but a couple more days should see me feeling my old self again.

In the meantime I am enjoying reading and eating oranges!

  6. Those are spectacular views, Denise! Just so sorry to hear you've fallen ill. I sure hope I stay well for my trip - haven't been sick at all this past winter, but my hands are pretty dry from all the washing I do (after every student leaves). Take care,

  7. Aw poo, poor you, that's NOT what you need to greet you on your arrival back, hon - but then, considering all the elements you were both exposed to over here, I guess it's hardly surprising. It was so lovely to see you again, Denise, lets hope next year isn't quite as soggy though, eh? Get well soon, and hugs to Jon. x

  8. Sounds like you had a great time - and a gorgeous view! If only coming home didn't always involve laundry! Hope the cold wears off soon - I prescribe hot toddies on the hour, they might not cure you but you won't care!

  19. Beautiful views with the water so calm, and the hint of pink in the second and third ones. I used to have a motorcycle (way back in the 60's). Hope I didn't already tell you that. Love the idea of you and hubby riding around together and that picture at the top of your blog is priceless. Feel better soon!
