Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”

Ho Ho - wonderful
ReplyDeleteNice little poem Denise. I hope that goose has not got its head stuck in there. I see you still have snow. It has snowed here all day today but it is thawing, so could be worse. But it is very cold and slippery underfoot.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem, Denise. I better get cracking and do my Z post...hmmm, what shall I write about?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of Jo but I think you are the one with the zest for life. Nice z post.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to attempt a poem about your shot? May I? I'd acknowledge you, of course.
ReplyDeleteAwww! xx

ReplyDeleteThe words were beautiful, but that photo of your goose beats most pictures I have seen lately!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a funny shot of your goose (or is it gander?). It looks like the goose has some zest for life as well...
ReplyDeleteAnd you have quite the zest for life yourself. Thank you for all your hard work on this journey thus far.
ReplyDeleteAnd self-effacing. You could be the first one posting, but nope.
Hope Jo found what he was looking for!
ReplyDeleteLovely!! Thanks for sharing!
