Brain training?

Following on from my senior moment I decided I need to keep my brain active. I have read about this Friday project for sometime now over on Akelamalu's blog. Basically you have to write a story using just 55 words, so here is my first attempt!
Why not give it a go!
If you do have a go, make sure you let Mr Knowitall know, as this is his baby!

She had tried to look away from the old wooden door.
In a bid to escape the consuming urge to open it she made her way down the stairs, knowing she would return!
The clock ticked, a time bomb inside her skull.

She opened the door,

It was laundry day!

The washing had to be sorted
