Withernsea and Beyond

Weather was lovely yesterday so we headed up the coast to Withernsea.

Wasn't sure what we were expecting but it did remind us of Bridlington.
After a walk along the High Street we headed off for something more remote.

 This was more like it!

The beauty that is Spurn Point can be seen from above here.

    1. It was lovely Jane - we did have our fleeces on however - so whilst I felt a bit bulky I was warm.

  2. The town looks like fun for a lunch but like you the countryside is where I want to be.

    1. Was lovely AP. I am sure there will be nice parts of Withernsea but the High Street was not.

  3. It always amazes me that there are still "remote" places in Britain, when you have so many people in an area that looks small to Canadians. I'm so glad you have them, though.
I enjoyed coming along on your journey to Withernsea and beyond!

    1. Thanks Kay - yes we are quite a remote area - lots to explore.

  4. I've never been to Withernsea but I had a friend when I was young who used to have a caravan there. Spurn Point was always my dad's favourite.

    1. Spurn Point was amazing Jo. There are so so many caravan parks along the East Coast - hundreds of caravans.
