The paintings of the farming subjects are so vivid and real. We live opposite a sheep farmer and these scenes could be Ronnie himself.
I have always liked Hares in art and for my Christmas present Jon chose one I had admired at a nearby gallery in Thornton-le-Dale. Once the Christmas tree has been taken down and put away I have the perfect spot ready!
Watch this space!
I absolutely adore this Denise - as you know, I collect hares. Might be winging our way over to Thornton before too long in the new year to see whether they have any others.
ReplyDeleteThat is stunning! Show me anything to do with Hares and I'm captured. I'll be checking out the artist soon. x
ReplyDeleteI like Jonathan Yule's paintings because the colours are so subtle. And anything withares has my vote too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you all.
Evocative picture - stirs the imagination. Love those dancing Hares.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful, delicate picture.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will deserve pride of place.

Such a fun, playful take on a scene in a pasture. Wonder what the cows must see!

That is a wonderful picture Denise, just love the boxing hares and the sort of bemused look on the faces of the cattle... love it !
