How right was Jon to suggest we go out on the motorbike.........
24 hours ago we were tootling around in the sunshine!
Well look at the view from our gates this afternoon!
I was reluctant to let the hens out but did so...and believe me they loved it!
Gave up putting them to bed, they were too busy searching for worms.
Eventually they went to bed around 6pm! Will dry off in their luxury accommodation!
Goodness your road look awful but the chickens look very happy !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
We were promised rain but although we had a little the sun came out in the afternoon and today is - so far - fine again.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness.
ReplyDeleteWorms, yum yum.
Funny, my chickens hate going out in the rain...not that they've had many chances lately.
ReplyDeleteWow, what an incredible amount of water flowing down your road. Do you ever flood where you are?
ReplyDeleteWow! Does this happen often? If it were warmer you could go swimming! lol
ReplyDeleteGosh you must have had a lot of rain. Where on earth do you live, Manchester!
ReplyDeleteYes, worms in profusion here too Denise.
ReplyDeleteSmall boys with paper boats would love this just as much as your hens like the earthworms!
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to be having rain tonight, but it's after 11pm and it hasn't started yet. Our lawn enjoyed last night's storm, but it could use a bit more.

Good grief! I heard that weather warnings had been issued but didn't believe it!
